Product & Equipment Design
Using the latest solid modelling techniques, Bercleys engineer’s designs products to the customers’ specification.
Engineers at Bercleys have more than 25 years experience in developing machines, as well as commercial components. Equipment included: Machine for weaving platinum wire baskets, 500 tons hydraulic press and hydraulic/pneumatic system for manufacturing bursting discs, robotic machine for welding bond welding platinum sheets.
Products includes: - Hybrid fibreoptic/electrical multi-fibre connectors for HD TV broadcast in severe environment applications, Subsea connectors working to 4km depths and safety relief valve for aircraft tyres
Prototype machining (Outsourcing)
Bercleys specialises in providing Precision Machining and Turning. We supply various sectors including Medical, Electronics, Scientific, Printing and Communications industries. We offer Precision CNC Milling and Turning as well as Grinding, 3D 4 Axis Milling, Spark Eroding and Wire Cutting, all of which are produced to a high standard.
A wide choice of materials is available to provide the correct solution to all requirements. Materials range from Plastics, Peek, Stainless Steels (303, 304, 316, 321, 416, 431 and 410), Aluminium (HE30, HE15, 7075T6), all Mild Steels, Phosphorus Bronze, Copper and Brass. We also produce prototype machining or small batch quantities up to medium sized production runs.
Consultation with the customer at all stages of the job is paramount to ensure that the correct finish and quality are achieved. No job is too small.
Electronic Design
Bercleys is one of the few UK based electronics consultancies with a genuine electronic design capability. As a result we can offer a 'one stop shop' solution for all of your electronic design requirements. We undertake design projects from basic design support and feasibility studies for start-up companies, through to complete product design, systems and product integration for blue chip Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We have more than 20 years experience of designing fibreoptic connectors. In fact, we were the pioneers of some of the early butt-ferrule and expanded beam fibreoptic connectors.
